Stan Acton is the Founder and CEO of Acton ADU, a Campbell-based design-build firm dedicated to high-quality accessory dwelling units across the Bay Area. A lifelong builder—he traces his craft back to repairing a broken family mallet as a kid—Stan studied computer science, worked four years at Texas Instruments, then returned to his first love in 1990 to launch Acton Construction. In 2017, recognizing ADUs as a practical answer to California’s housing crunch, he focused the company entirely on designing, navigating, and building personalized backyard homes. Today, Acton ADU reflects Stan’s hallmark values of craftsmanship, integrity, and clear process, with decades of local experience and a vast library of Build Ready ADU designs.
